The rise of the internet, followed shortly by the rise in social media, has altered journalism and how Dr. 卡斯腾斯 teaches his students.

“[Social media has] changed communications, way they get their news, way they participate in news or share ideas and opinions. So, it’s really interesting,” he remarks. “One of the benefits of the online New 媒体 Journalism master's program is that everything has kind of moved online in the real world.”
